This class is a prerequisite for the By Annie Quilted Jacket Class. You will learn about measure yourself to get the correct size, making and altering your pattern as needed, cutting out your jacket and general garment sewing instruction. If using the expansion pattern you will need to know how to do foundation paper piecing.

BERNINA Q-Matic Long Arm Class
If you have a BERNINA Q-matic Long Arm this class is for you. We will be learning how to use the digital portion of the long arm including choosing the design for edge to edge quilting, moving your safe area, changing the bobbin in the middle of a design and rolling your project to start a new row.

How to...
This is a combination instructional class and a how to class. We will be using simple patterns that require certain tools/rulers used to make the blocks/projects. You are not required to have the tools/rulers but we will have them available to purchase. The goal of this class is to educate you on the use of the tool/ruler and techniques properly.

New Owner Class
When you buy a machine from The Quilter's Cafe you are entitled to "New Owner Classes" at no cost. We try to offer these classes at least once a quarter through out the year. Depending on which machine you get will determine how many classes you need to take. We have them broken down into 3 sessions - 1st is get to know your machine - how to thread it - what the mechanics of it are - winding the bobbin etc.; 2nd classes is where you learn about the different stitches and functions that you machine it will do for you; 3rd classes is how to use the Bernina Stitch Regulator and/or embroidery module. And of course we have a review through out.
